I welcome you to share my challenges, goals, lifestyle and lots of personal opinions offered with a sense humor (hopefully) and a touch of wisdom, Making it real....I am a "nearly" 5 foot tall and a definitely over 55 woman, living in our modern and larger than ever world. I am blogging with the hope that I might encourage and inspire other women (not just petite) to find motivation, tools, ideas and suggestions that let us know we all have value and relevance in this world and that we can do lots of stuff when we decide to .....no matter what the stereotypes are and the haters say.

And yes, I also intend this blog as personal therapy. I own that.
I have lived in SoCal for a long time now, but the New England Coast.....I grew up there. I have a talented 6 foot husband and a marriage of almost 25 years (yes, with him), a fabulous bestie sister and a perfect granddaughter that is more like my own grown kid. I have a law degree but I don't practice law. Yet my degree is still helpful when reviewing contracts, helping friends with do-it-yourself divorce and the occasional bad neighbor fence dispute.

I was a mother, an artist, an almost 80's new wave icon vocalist, a teacher, a consultant, a mediator, a certified fiduciary and other odd jobs that I shall not mention to protect the innocent. I love the idea of minimalism and a life with more ease and less drama.

I adore natural elements mixed with shiny modern technology. I practice staying fit. I enjoy clean foods and dancing dirty. I refuse to go quietly. Come join me.....
